Significant Daily Events

  1. Joel had a fever today so he skipped church. When I got home from church, his temp was 103! I consulted our "Take Care of Yourself" book, promptly marinaded him in cool washcloths, and an hour later it was down to 102. Progress!
  2. I taught Sunday School today for the first time. They did not eat me. I did not throw up. I consider this all a success.
  3. I made pumpkin bread. I'm not sure if this is very significant. The pumpkin flavours were a bit too subtle, I thought.
  4. I talked about eating animal brains with my friend Lisa, who is Chinese. She provided relevant information of where to buy a whole pig head in Glasgow. I know what's for dinner next weekend!

I think that is all. On another note, something significant happened to Shelley yesterday - she inadvertently created Donut Soup. (Further research is required to determine whether it was Donut Soup, or Doughnut Soup.)

What age of Sunday School are you teaching? How adventurous of you!

Having taught Sunday School myself, I agree that the two events you mention not happening is indeed a significant accomplishment.

I thought this blog was supposed to be resurrected.
