On another note, I got a job! As a Support Worker with Carr-Gomm Scotland. I will be working with individuals to maintain or improve mental health, on a short-term basis. Carr-Gomm's role is usually for very specific goals, and once those specific goals are met, our support is unneeded. People who need more long-term support are referred elsewhere. This job is an amazing acquiration for me - the organisation is person-centred, focuses on quality, whole-person care, and treats employees great as far as I can tell! The work will be monday-friday, 9-5 shifts, which is unheard of in support work roles. And, my work will be based in Glasgow's West End, which is where I live! I could not have asked for more. God came through on this one all the way.
I don't start until the end of January, unfortunately (but this job is worth waiting for). Until then, I'll be biding my time by continuing my work of paper snowflakes, which are now insulating our walls. I will post more on that later.

Pretty sure "acquiration" isn't a word. Ask Joel if you aren't sure.
Pretty sure if I use it, it's a word. Ask me if you aren't sure.
Love you!
