As I search for ways to enhance my interview skills, I am faced with this daunting tip (see figure 1.1). Hmm... do you think this has a correlation to why I haven't gotten a job yet? I must begin a soul-searching debate of whether it is better to live according to my own values (and thereby wearing rave pants wherever I want), or becoming encumbered by society (and thereby having the capacity to pay rent).

Off to begin my quest for truth and meaning in this hecka profesh universe!

I'm starting to think that it's a case of racism, although I may just be a bit paranoid. But who knows. I was once told by a potential employer (English teacher at a college, which I had all the essential and desirable criteria for) that they "detected signs of non-native idiom in my speech". Well, if Australian-Canadian English is non-native, then I guess that just means you have to be Scottish to get a job here, lassie. Och, aye!

I love that he's still wearing a tie with said rave pants. And when did you start looking at Toothpaste for Dinner??
